  yes there is a lot of water around, but not where we live…lucky.Tomorrow it will be 30c here and no rain.Too hot for gardening.
  The snow looks so cool, I want to walk in it tomorrow, it will be too hot to go to the beach.

  Wow, you must only be able to garden for about half the year over there. Here we are always busy, all year round. In the spring weeding, planting, pruning, spraying (only if necessary) and mowing; in the summer, more pruning, more planting, watering, mowing; in the autumn, more pruning, more spraying, lots of fruit and vege processing for about 2 months and more mowing; in the winter, cleaning up around the trees, preparing the soil, but not quite as busy then. We go on holidays up Northern Aus in winter. We seek the sun. Aaah, you would think retirement was easy. Not so, but loving it.
