Are the tubes empty after the watering ?
I thought the roods are always in the water
Hey Roland, yes, exactly. Up here it gets quite hot in summer during the day hence the regular watering and at night it cools quite a lot plus there is a lack of sun to dry up the roots too much.
Why are you running the pump in different cycles
has it to do with the water temperature

Hiya Roland, the plants are only 15mm closer than recommended on the packs, but if they get to big, i can easily transplant them the upper level, plenty of room still. The pineapples will take a year or so to get much bigger, but they are used to growing on top of each other

That’s my basic potting mixture
20 % lava 10-20 mm
10 % perlite
25 % clay a light one not the heavy one
25 % peat
10 % sand
and 10% compost
1 m³ in every 20 cm deep raised bed
Roland
Looks GREAT Roland. What combination of mediums are you using? I can see some perlite and some clay balls.
Cheers
The world looks different today
The fog is gone
The sun comes up:face-smile:
U used the same idea as I do
but I made a little raised beds
I just planted garlics a week ago
The first ones planted a few weeks ago are popping up
