Rose-bushes, growing in various kinds of containers, are sometimes available during late spring and summer. These plants are useful in filling bare spaces in rose beds or other parts of the garden. Plants making healthy, vigorous growth and having two or more stems are the best ; they may be full., grown and in bud or in bloom. Transplanting from pots to the garden is not difficult, provided the ball of soil around the roots is kept intact. |
