I have three matured orchids that belonged to my mother.
I have moved to the Southern Tablelands NSW and would like to know how the frost will affect my orchids. How can I care for them over winter? I do not have a hot house.
Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Native or introduced Orchids?
And from where have you moved?
    A much warmer clime?

Without knowing more as long as you protect them from frost they
should be fine. In winter find a warm spot that is frost free and
maybe move them into a dappled shady spot for summer.
Thats pretty generic advice though as I've not idea what sort
    of orchids they are.

Definitely protect them from frost or they will die. They may not like the temperature either. Like Bio says need more info. I hope you haven't moved to Goulburn:face-wink:Ed Tropical Collector
