Helpful Gardening Tips: help! the quail are eating all of my seedlings. How do I keep them out?

    This is my first vegetable garden and the quail just thrashed my lettuce seedlings. How can I keep them away/out? thanks

    You might have to fence it with chicken wire or something smallerEd Tropical Collector

    Quail?
    You keep quail then? Nice little birds, I used to have King Quails as a kid,
    they breed like mice when looked after well. A decent bird mesh will keep them
    out as Ed suggests.
