    This plant has come up on the front part of our property.
    The flowers have a nice perfume that is stronger at night, the leaves feel a bit furry and the new leaves have a purple colour to them, the flowers from the base to the tip of the stamens are 5cm.

    At first I thought it was a stephanotis as the flowers are a similar shape but the rest isn't the same. Here is my stephanotis that is ready to flower.

    I just did a quick search and came across a Bouvardia longiflora but not sure.

    I should have put that it looks like it will be a shrub/tree currently about 2M high, the trunk is a bit thicker than my thumb.
    Flowers have 5 petals and the stamens extend 2cm past the petals.
    I'm waiting for fruit/seed to form before sending off for a proper ID.Nanango QLD

    I have got a positive ID on this plant now and it is what I thought it could be Clerodendrum tomentosum Lolly Bush.Nanango QLD
